Outlook Express 4.5 - Mail

SMTP Auth and SSL

Mojave Mesa email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Mojave Mesa email.

For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Mojave Mesa email.

  • SMTP Authentication
  • SSL Encryption (outgoing)
  • SSL Encryption (incoming)
  • Open Outlook Express. Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences.

    Choose E-mail from the menu on the left. To setup a new mail account, click the New Account button and type Mojave Mesa in the Account name field. Click OK.

    • Enter your name in the Full name field.
    • Enter your email address in the E-mail address field.
    • Enter your Mojave Mesa mail servers into the SMTP server and POP server fields. Click here for the list of Mojave Mesa Mail Servers.
    • Enter your email username or Mojave Mesa email address in the format of username@ Mojave Mesa .net in the Account ID field in lowercase letters. If you want to save your password, check the Save password box and enter your email password.

    Click OK to save your changes and return to Outlook Express.

     


    Help us help you! If you contact Mojave Mesa support for assistance please write down any error messages you get when trying to connect to the Internet. Include the name and version of your operating system and the exact text of all error messages. If this information is included in an online case submission or provided to a support representative, it will greatly speed up the troubleshooting process.

    Please be aware that some troubleshooting may require uninstallation and reinstallation of operating system files. To ensure that this type of troubleshooting can be accomplished if required, please be sure that you have to have original Operating System CD or Operating system source files on disk on hand.
