IncrediMail

SMTP Auth and SSL

Mojave Mesa email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Mojave Mesa email.

For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Mojave Mesa email.

  • IncrediMail is a free POP mail client that is available to download from http://www.incredimail.com. This program is similar to Microsoft's Outlook Express in many respects. Since the program is used by some of our customers, information for configuring the program is provided. Please note that we do not provide technical support for the download, installation, or use of the program's features.

    Configure IncrediMail for your Mojave Mesa email

    1. After downloading and installing the program, start the set up wizard by clicking the Incredimail icon on the desktop -OR- click Start and go to Programs then select IncrediMail -OR- right click the IncrediMail icon in the system tray (near clock) and select Open IncrediMail (F12).

    2. Select the appropriate information from the drop-down menus and click Next.

    3. Click Next.

    4. Type your name into the name field. Type your Mojave Mesa email address into the Your email address: field - username@ Mojave Mesa .net. Click Next.

    5. The search for settings window will appear. You may fill the settings in manually by clicking Skip.

    6. In the Incoming mail server: and Outgoing mail server: fields, type in mail. Mojave Mesa .net. Note: Some customers may use another mailserver. Click here for the list of Mojave Mesa Mail Servers. Click Next.

    7. In the Username: field, type in your email username or Mojave Mesa email address in the format of username@ Mojave Mesa .net in lowercase letters. In the Password: field, type in your email password in lowercase letters. Click Finish.

    8. IncrediMail will open. You can now start sending and receiving email.

    Check your Email Settings

    1. Open IncrediMail and click the Tools menu then select Accounts.

    2. Select your Mojave Mesa email account on the Mail Accounts window and click the Properties button.

    3. On the General tab, be sure your Mojave Mesa email address is entered correctly in the E-mail address: field.

    4. Click the Servers tab. The Incoming mail server: and Outgoing mail server: fields should be mail. Mojave Mesa .net and the port: numbers should be 110 and 25 respectively. Click here for the list of Mojave Mesa Mail Servers.

      The Username: field should contain your email username or Mojave Mesa email address in the format of username@ Mojave Mesa .net. The Password: field should contain your email password. Both the username and password should be typed in lowercase letters.

      Do not place a check in Leave a copy of messages on the server. Doing so may put your email box overquota. Do not place a check in My server requires authentication.

    5. Click OK and then click Close to close the Accounts window.

    1. To set the program options, click Tools on the menu and select Options.

    Help us help you! If you contact Mojave Mesa support for assistance please write down any error messages you get when trying to connect to the Internet. Include the name and version of your operating system and the exact text of all error messages. If this information is included in an online case submission or provided to a support representative, it will greatly speed up the troubleshooting process.

    Please be aware that some troubleshooting may require uninstallation and reinstallation of operating system files. To ensure that this type of troubleshooting can be accomplished if required, please be sure that you have to have original Operating System CD or Operating system source files on disk on hand.
